One of the "problems" with the pop up killers is that they prevent a web businesses from highlighting information for web site visitors. A way around this is to use a drop in window as I have done with the link to this new blog (weblog) page.
There are claims that the the drop in buisiness improves visitor responses considerably. I am testing this by putting tracker* links on the two links from my drop in window.
*A text link that is fed though a counter -- each with a separate name to track an advertising campaign (a feature included with Site Build It!).
